Alex Petretich, an aspiring cartoonist and graphic designer, has been creating art since a very young age. After deciding that he wanted to make comic books for a living, he attended the prestigious Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Arts, where he honed his skills at drawing and studied the mechanics of comic book storytelling. Although still dedicated to that goal, he has now expanded his horizons to include graphic design and freelance illustration, and is once again a student, now at Cuyahoga Community College.
Alex finds inspiration from many places. But more often than not, the sources of his inspiration are dusty, old comic books from the 50’s with giant insects or flying saucers in them.
Alex currently lives in Cleveland, Ohio with his wife and his two daughters, Sofie and Phoebe, both of whom are quite mad.
